Belonging-Centered Development for Garfield’s Middle Schoolers

Aim Right Ministries is a faith-based nonprofit rooted in Phoenix’s Garfield neighborhood, dedicated to the holistic development of middle schoolers through belonging-centered programming. For over 35 years, Aim Right has been a consistent presence on the block — providing after-school drop-in space, enrichment clubs in skateboarding, fashion, poetry, and mural arts, and long-term mentoring relationships that walk students through the critical middle school years. Built on the belief that every young person needs to be seen, safe, and known, Aim Right’s approach centers on incarnational presence — staff and volunteers embedded in the neighborhood, walking alongside students not just in programs but in life. With a vision to become the primary after-school provider for Garfield Middle School students, Aim Right is building a proven model of urban youth development that transforms a neighborhood one relationship at a time.
