Arizona Burn Foundation
The Arizona Burn Foundation, founded in 1967, is the only agency in our state whose mission is to assist children, adults, and families who have suffered a severe burn injury. We do so by providing emotional and financial support while a patient is in the Arizona Burn Center; and providing therapy support services, peer support groups, camps and retreats, and social gatherings for burn survivors and their families once a patient is discharged from the hospital. In addition, the Foundation is the leader in providing burn prevention and fire safety education and advocacy in Arizona. The Foundation educates 150,000 children annually in burn prevention through its signature program, Milo & Moxie: Smart Safety Rangers™; installs over 1200 free smoke alarms across the state; and is the state’s leading advocate for burn prevention education.
