Swift Youth Foundation
Founded in 1980, Swift Youth Foundation provides overnight camps, after school, and weekend programs that promote positive mentor relationships between economically disadvantaged youth and college-bound teens. At the signature Swift Youth Foundation overnight camp, they offer nutritious meals, physical activity and, most importantly, a safe environment in which to learn and play, away from neighborhoods often characterized by violence. Campers are referred from homeless shelters, Boys and Girls Clubs, and Title 1 school districts. Select high school and college volunteers lead activities and act as role models for making positive choices in health, physical activity and behavior.
